TrashBolt Announces the Launch of V3 and Our User Conference: June 25, 2026!

There are many exciting changes and enhancements coming in 2026 for TrashBolt users. So many that we think it’s a good idea to show you in person! It’s scheduled for June 25, 2026 at the Mall of America.

Here’s a summary of what’ll be covered at this year’s user conference:

Introducing TrashBolt V3!

Starting in 2026, we will begin moving existing clients into TrashBolt’s new platform. We call it V3 (you’re using V2 now). There is no additional cost to move from V2 to V3 (unless you add more features/applications).

Introducing Our Improved Existing and New Applications

  • Enhanced Online Signup System (OSS)
    • A new and improved version of your existing online signup system.
    • Self-service editing of system settings such as pricing, taxes, fuel surcharges, promo codes, and maps.
    • An improved cart-like customer interface for your website.
    • Improved self-service reporting options.
  • Enhanced Sales Entry System (SES)
    • Incorporating the improvements noted for OSS.
    • Data synchronization with your existing billing and operating software.
    • Quote and sign up new customers accurately and quickly!
  • Customer Notification System (CNS) – New!
    • Automated customer notifications via text, email, phone, and in app.
    • One time or recurring messaging.
    • Map based notification list building.
  • Customer Service Portal (CSP) – New!
    • A single source for your customers to find information and add new services.
    • Place Bulky Pickup Orders, Request Extra or Replacement Carts, view a Disposal Guide, and set notification preferences.
    • New Customer Phone App!
  • Data Sync App (DSA)
    • Move data in and out of any software you are using.

PandaDoc Becomes Optional (Second Quarter of 2026)

Based on years of customer feedback and V3’s significant improvements, we will begin offering our clients the opportunity to move off PandaDoc to the TrashBolt Client Online Portal for access to all your TrashBolt applications data.

Some Important Concepts

  • You will have the choice to remain on PandaDoc indefinitely; the change is not mandatory.
  • You can continue to use PandaDoc for some service types such as Commercial or Roll Off sign up and move to the TrashBolt Client Online Portal for other service types, like Residential or Customer Service Portal transactions.
  • Because PandaDoc is changing their pricing model to a per document fee, there may be additional charges to remain on PandaDoc.
  • Payments will continue to be processed via your current payment service (e.g. Authorize.net), whether through PandaDoc or V3.
  • The change will be mostly seamless, requiring very little adjustment to your current processes.
  • Training for V3 will be included as needed at no additional charge relative to how it functions as a replacement for PandaDoc.

Reasons TrashBolt is Shifting Off of PandaDoc

  • More than 98% of our system outages are caused by PandaDoc (or related integrations to PandaDoc). These outages affect your customer’s ability to sign up for new service.
  • Since we don’t have access to PandaDoc’s source code, we can’t immediately address system issues, nor add features TrashBolt users have requested.
  • PandaDoc doesn’t allow the use of your back-end accounting system’s payment portal, while V3 will eventually allow for this.
  • PandaDoc can’t process recurring payments.
  • PandaDoc has minimal and basic lead follow up capabilities.
  • PandaDoc allows the customer to create multiple documents (duplicates) in the system.
  • PandaDoc is changing their cost model to a per document fee.
  • PandaDoc is a separate application and database which limits api, integrations, reporting, etc.

New V3 Capabilities to Replace PandaDoc

  • Initially, online sales transactions will happen in V3 using the payment gateway you are using with PandaDoc.
  • Eventually, transactions will occur in your backend software (where possible), capturing credit card and transaction token information.
  • Data from your TrashBolt applications will be stored in our databases resulting in improved lead management and reporting capabilities.
  • All integrations will be from our database, not PandaDoc.
  • Integrated Lead Management System (LMS) for much better lead follow-up and reporting.

Lead Management System (LMS)

  • There are 2 levels of LMS:
    • LMS BasiX (Included free of charge with OSS)
    • LMS Enterprise (Optional Expanded System – Extra Cost)
  • Both versions of LMS expand and improve on PandaDoc’s limited lead management capabilities.
  • LMS may replace your existing CRM.
  • LMS is integrated to your other TrashBolt applications such as OSS/SES/CSP and Bulk Pick Up systems.
